ShipStore.com

Has anyone ordered from Shipstore.com? If so, what was your customer service experience?

I ordered an oil pressure switch for my Yanmar 4JH2E on 11/5 and have yet to receive the switch. I've e-mailed twice - no response. I've also called but got an answering machine - no response to my voice message.

I hope this is not the norm for this company.

Re: ShipStore.com

The bbb entry does not look favourable.

ShipStore.com Review - MARINE EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES in Westport, NY - BBB Business Review - BBB serving Upstate NY

For calibration I entered Defender (who I am very happy with), who got 2 complaints in the same time that Shipstore got 15.

Re: ShipStore.com

I ordered a couple of outrigger clips from them in late August and received them promptly.

Re: ShipStore.com

Thanks to all who responded to my post. I finally heard from them. They sent me a copy of my invoice via e-mail and said to allow extra time for the part to arrive as it was a special order. No idea how long before the part arrives.

Re: ShipStore.com

I received my oil pressure switch yesterday via USPS from ShipStore.com. About 4 weeks for my part to arrive. I guess that is not too bad.

Re: ShipStore.com

THe BBB is a a paid service, if your company joins and pays you never get a bad report if you don't join and pay them you get negatives,

ask how I know.

The BBB sucks - don't believe the reviews
