You are absolutley correct. I prefer the human contact and relationships with my contractors and suppliers for the important stuff. BUT, when i need a generic part, i want it and i want it now. I want to know how much it costs, what it looks like amd i want to walk out with it so i can move on to other things. I'm currently working with great people at WestMarine, Garhauer, Sailcare, Mile High powder coating, a marine
electrician and a guy to clean my hull
when i'm not there. If i need an oil filter
, some rubber grommets and some gaskets though, that's a little different. It shouldn't take two days to buy an oil filter
amd have to request a quote for small items. Besides, parts4engines.com sold me double the stuff, in half the time for half as much, and they are real people providing great service
and a quality product in a timely manner.
If you guys have a better service provider i'm all ears.
