ENO Stoves

Our old stove is just about ready to quit. The only stove that looks like it will fit without major renovation id the ENO. I haven't heard much about them, does anyone have any feedback? It would be much appreciated, thanks.

I have one. It's been on my boat since 2001. No problems other than a thermocouple needing replacement. It's a French company. They were acquired by Force 10 so it's now easy to get parts in the US sales@force10.com or

It's a good stove. I have one and the oven spreads the heat evenly allowing you bake without burning

I thought it was ENO that acquired Force 10? Doesn't matter I guess.

I installed an ENO a couple years ago and really like it. Looks good and performance has been superb.

I also have an ENO stove (without oven). It is as old as the boat (17 years) and works OK.

My boat has an older Eno unit with oven. We need to replace a burner, as it tends to deform after heating up, and allows flame to go yellow and blacken things (also making dangerous CO). The Oven seems to want to shut itself down randomly until it is warmed up. I hear its a clogged/compromised feedback loop and thermocouple issue. Not sure If I should attempt to repair or update - but the availability of parts is encouraging. I think Budget marine in the Carib. carries the full line of parts.

Our recently purchase Beneteau has an Eno oven on board. It has 2 burners on top and an oven - all of which seem to work. In past few days, when we use the larger burner, gas seems to build up in the oven (even though the dial is in the off position for the oven), and after a few minutes the gas ignites and flames blow out the back of the oven in a big puff. Obviously, not a good thing. Does anyone know where the problem might lie here.

How old is your Eno stove? Sometimes, there is a slight leak in a gas pipe connection between the top and the oven. This also results in a weak flame on the large top burner.

I know it is possible to replace these pipes, I have seen it done a few years ago.

Alain, thanks for the reply. The oven is a 2007 Eno Grande Large. 2 burners. The large burner seems to be the culprit, though we haven't noticed any reduction in the flame output from that burner.

Then, maybe you only have a small leak in the pipe. ENO spare part web site is there: ENO SAV

Problem fixed! You where right. There was a small leak coming from the gas line connection to that burner. A little soap and water helped me find the spot. Torquing the connection down a few more turns seems to have fixed the leak. Keep your fingers crossed that there are no more small explosions in my galley, and thank for the help!
