I came accross this product by accident when I visited my wifes office to fix her executive chair. A problem had devdeloped with the pedestal and when taking it apart, some grease got on the carpet. I tried some carpet stain remover which only pushed the grease further into the carpet fibres. I asked my wife if she ahd anything else and her assistant had dropped a bottle of white-out on the carpet and purchased the De-solv-it which took it out no problem. I figured it might work with a generous application and a good scrubbing and rinsing. I sprayed a little on the ground-in grease and looked away to pick up the brush to scrub it - maybe 2 seconds and when I looked back - the grease stain was completely gone - completely and I hadn't even touched it! I just used a paper towel to blot the moisture up and you could not tell there was ever a stain there. I have never seen anything work like this product before. It is made by the Orange Sol company in Arizona and best of all is non toxic and non hazardous. It works on many materials including oil, tar, flooring adhesive, silicone, wet foam insulation, silicone etc. I am buying a five gallon pail and picking it up in Buffalo by the end of the week. It also comes in gallons and a 12 oz spray bottle which is the only size I can get in Canada. I'm going to clean my engine, bilge, car engines, oil stains on concrete, degrease the fiberglass areas I have to paint etc.

It's been around a long time. Carpet and upholstery cleaners use it a lot. It is slightly flammable and the mist can hurt your lungs. Store it with caution! Read the MSDS at the bottom of YOUR links page......................_/)

Yep I have used it over the years too. It is a good product, but I have never seen it in anything larger than about 100ml bottles. I didn't know if was available in larger containers.
