Caframo 757 Fans

Just replaced one of my older Caframo fans with a brand new 757. I've used Camfro fans for years with great success, but REALLY like the 757. The redesigned base is an improvement from the old ratchet style...much easier and smoother to move and adjust and less prone to vibration. The old style had an internal adjustment that required removing the mounting base to adjust. The new one has a large threaded adjuster on the base...so you just grab it and adjust it. Appears there have been some minor design changes to the blade too.

Easy install. Smooth, quiet operation, low amp draw, and still moves lots of air.

Completely agree the new base design is far superior to the previous version. The base seems much stronger and just looks better too.

Also, have not tried this yet, but judging from the finish bungs on new 757, it is held together with screws so could be opened up to service switch, bearings, motor.... For example, I have an old 747 (10 years), its still running but the switch does not work on high. Probably an easy fix, but I can't find a non-destructive way to open the housing on the 747.

Reminds me of a "sawstop" video where the inventor ran his finger into the blade... He declined to repeat the test with his man unit...
