Bottom paint Eco-Clad

Has anyone had recent experience with the Eco-Clad product. I sail the northern Chesapeake in mildly brackish waters and do not want to have to scrub the bottom 3 or 4 times a season. Thx

Re: Bottom paint Eco-Clad

I had the bottom of my Catalac 9 meter catamaran stripped, barrier coated and painted with Eco-clad last month. Too early for a verdict but so far I am happy.

Any update on how the Eco Clad weathered the summer?

Boat was pulled in early November and unfortunately I was not there to see her as she came out of the water. however, there was no evidence of barnacle growth excepting areas not painted with Eco clad. The bottom had been power washed before i got there and I expect some slime/grassy growth had been near the waterline. The unpainted prop had multiple, some large, barnacles but none on the painted bottom.

I am only planning to wash the bottom before launching in the spring.
