Anybody Besides Me Having a Problem with Solarelectric.com ?

Recently, I purchased a BlueSky MPPT controller from Solarelectricinc.com and have been very satisfied with the quick delivery and the performance of the unit.

Sept 23rd, I phone ordered an IPM controller for it from them.
They answered the phone directly, (no voicemail) and assured me it would be in the mail that day or the next day at the latest.

My bank card has been charged, and I still haven't received either the unit or even an email response. No tracking number, nothing.

Their phone number only goes to voicemail.

I've left numerous messages, but nothing has been returned.

Email has bounced as well.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Following the link to Solarelectric.com makes me think they are no longer in business. All it seems to contain are links to other companies. I think URL has been sold

sounds like it time to call your credit card company and dispute the charge

How did you make out with your CC charge reversal?

A couple of years ago, I had a similar problem with a vendor. I also had a problem with my CC company. Their position was....."well, you made the purchase choice, not us!"

I would also consider cancelling your card and getting a new one.

I purchased something on line and after the money went through I was informed that they were going to continue to bill me in the future. the advertised price was jsut a 'down payment'.

I tried to cancel the order but no joy.

So I cancelled my card so they can't get any more money.

Pity as there are reputable people selling via the internet and the few who rip us off make it bad for the rest.
