I had one - took it back. They offered two alternatives: Store 'gift card' for the CURRENT price of the chair (plus tax), or to order the NEW bosun chair as a direct swap.

We had one too. We hated to return it because it was a very nice chair and there is not a replacement that is as nice out yet. Safety first.

Im keeping mine untill there is..I inspected it really well..looks fine to me...but that's my choice and mine alone.

We had a recall on our vans back hatch lift cylinders once...the shop did more dammage to and runined the car more replacing them then the faulty parts ever did..not the same life and death scenario I realize...but it works for me.
