Search for lost children - Panama/Caribbean

Anyone has possibly any info on this search?

Father and two small boys missing on a boat in/from Panama area:

"...

Dear friends. We are trying to find a Czech boat ANA gone missing with its crew in Panama after June 30, 2017. There was one adult, 50-years-old Petr Marko, with his two sons, 5-years old Lukas and 3 year old Matej, on board (all Czech nationals).
The boat left Bocas del Toro on the Caribbean coast of Panama around 22nd of June, 2017. Last text message was sent to the mother of the children on June 30, 2017. Petr planned to sail from Bocas del Toro to the islands San Blas with a stopover in Porto Belo, where he did not arrive. He was supposed to meet with the mother about a month after setting off in Porto Belo in Panama, yet nothing was heard from him after June 30th. He did not contact any friends or family since then. The boat, the man and the boys were reported missing in Panama. Police is investigating the the disappearance since the end of July, yet we are looking for anyone who is or was in the area, especially cruisers, who could have seen either the boat, Petr, and/or the children. Please help us find them! If you have any info, contact either the mother of the children at iva.krilova@gmail.com, or me (+420777686737 or olga.neumanova@gmail.com). Iva, the mother, is in Costa Rica, I am in Prague. THANK YOU! Please share where appropriate!

Two months without any words. That's really grim. Of course, they could have gone elsewhere, but with the plan for the lady to join them....probably not likely, but still possible.

I hope they turn up in good nick, and, really soon.

Ann

Re: Search for lost children - Panama/Caribbean

That sailboat should stand out, the hull is definitely an odd shade. That platform on her stern is pretty obvious as well...

I hope they are found, but this does not look to be a good situation at all. This is what seems to get so many folks concerned when an adult takes kids to sea, that something will happen to the adult and the kids will be lost, or that the kids cannot assist the adult in some task that requires adult assistance. Good luck to them all, mom included, and I pray they turn up alive and in good spirits. Hopefully, they are in a dry-dock someplace getting something refit, and are just outside of cell service. Not sure that is realistic today, though...
