Has anyone used the My Radar App on their I phone to keep an eye on weather?

Yes I have! It is especially helpful if you sail in a mountainous area where you can't see what might be coming or track it on your own radar. It is also quite an eye opener to see the direction a storm is traveling on radar vs what it LOOKS like on the ground.

It would be a great app if it didn't require a wifi signal. If it worked just off the GPS like Navionics it would be used on every boat. As it is its ok if your close to land.

Without wifi, you would not be receiving current weather radar, which would make it rather useless.
