New PFDs from Foattech-are they USCG approved

I've been noticing news pieces about a company named Float Tech from around Albany NY that is making, shall we say, more fashionable but reportedly effective personal floatation devices.
Does anybody know if these are USCG approved? If so, what vendors carry them. JR

Goto Float-Tech:

From their FAQ's:
Is the Float-TechTM PFD U.S. Coast Guard approved?
We are currently pursuing USCG and UL approval of our PFD as a Type V lifejacket. Our product's inflation components currently meet USCG/UL component requirements under UL 1191. And we are continually testing our product, following UL 1180 requirements, to ensure it meets or exceeds Type III performance characteristics.
