Thanks for the info. I am not ready to try any other things right now. First want to see for myself if it works on extreme discomfort. More than 50% of our cruising life we are too far from real medical help so anything that may help us in an emergency is always appreciated!

An anecdote is not a fact, even if you CAPITALIZE it.

Your example of LEDs is totally irrelevant. When LED replacement bulbs fisrt came out they were pretty poor light quality and brightness. Now there are excellent ones available.

I plan to dump my power wasting refrigeration system and store all my food in a pyramid locker, lined with magnets AND crystals.

That better tasting wine may also work on extreme discomfort

I would rather invest in decent medical book and some basic procedures training

update on the wands

Since I raised this surprisingly controversial subject, I owe all of you an update about these famous wands

Like most people, I do not care for Multi Level Marketing companies either so I searched the Internet for other manufacturers of Energy wands. I found several … too many in fact! Luckily another friend of mine recommended the following website: Energetic Wellness Solutions Healing Wands
Their wands are half the price of the Amega wands!

I did order one to be shipped to a relative that I care, for that suffers from a lot of pain. Being very skeptical about non-conventional medicine (too many miracle cures did not work for her before- she is 75!) I thought she would be a good test subject.
Already in the first 2 weeks she reported great results on neck pain (after reading a heavy book on her knees) and good result on another muscular pain.

Just 2 days ago, a cruiser friend of ours used my wand and reported greater mobility in his hand (that was broken about a year ago) and better feeling in one of his feet (that has numbness from a sciatic problem).

So even if it does not work on everyone all the time (neither does any type of medicine!) … I am glad I carry one in my first aid kit and any cruiser crossing my wake is welcome to try it on any of his pains!

This is a cruiser’s blog, not a wellness blog so this will probably be my final comment on the subject and I still would like to read about anyone that had any experience with this zero-point energy (not opinions based on no personal experience!).

Bash - I was led to believe that direct attempts to sell your stuff through the forum is discouraged.....

You know how it is. There's one rule for mods and advisers and another rule for us common boat bums.

That's how it should be ! Are you implying I sell wands now? Which ones, then? The first I discovered ... or is it the non MLM now?
It is not because someone recommends something that he sells it.

I recommend lots of things to friends, all from personal experience. From Lee sails, to Reefurl to EchoTech watermakers ... !!!
