Any 1" tubular webbing from a climbing shop or online climbing store will be rated around the same strength, 4000lbs or more. If you want to get techy you can thread a smaller diameter dynamic rope 8mm or so through the tubular nylon webbing for a pretty bombproof tether. If you're looking to tether in short 4 feet or so a daisy chain is a great tool.

I have used it as a Background for quite a while.

It was a poster on another forum whom I tried to find and give credit to on another occasion with out success.

He and his wife were on their way to Bermuda in the shot I believe.

But I agree.. it is one of my all time favorites...and really captivates me...Hopefully some day I'll find him again he seemed like a super guy.

run 1/4 or 3/8 amsteel line thru the hollow center and a little nylon rot won't literally end up killing you. The webbing will keep the line from rolling if stepped upon.

Its time to replace the jacklines again, and I have some new nylon webbing. I'm wondering if its best to stitch them with polyester thread or the new tenara, which lasts many years in the sun. The polyester is 30-40% stronger when new, but half the strength after a year or two in the tropical sun. My inclination is to use tenara and put a few extra seams in...
