InReach SE, Australian price gouging..

Looking at buying the inReach SE for the Indonesian Rally next year, typically Australians have to pay more for less .
US monthly contract $65, unlimited TXT & track points.

Australia monthly contract, $50 , 40 free TXT & 600 track points .

Anyone Aussies been able to hack to cheaper US rates or know how too?

Funny thing is, the average Australian user is probably getting a better deal. Especially once you take the exchange rate into account.

Looks like the plan options are completely different.

You'd probably want the monthly freedom plan if you could get it.

Could just be a delay in that plan getting to the Oz market. I'd wait till you get closer to time and have another look.

I am tempted to get a freedom plan and lock it in for future use...
