Got Gas

What do most use for an LPG detector?

Is there a battery powered one available? Could not find one.

Re: Got Gas

If there was, it would not cut off the gas flow, which is a requirement. The sensor trips the solenoid.

Re: Got Gas

for obvious reasons gas detectors need to be hardwired. I have an S2a like in the link above. If you look on ebay you can often find one at half the retail price. Test it regularly with a long neck butane lighter.
