Re: Emergency underwater hull repair!!!

As an underwater welder and salvor here's my opinion. You can a) make a Tooker patch that consists of a plywood inside the hull all the way through to another board with a piece of all thread to squeeze it tight. B) splash zone or "1188" works great IF the damage isn't a huge gash, meaning it's not going to work on a golf all sized hole unless you have a patch and splash zone around that. I can't see the extent of your damage so I can't give a good plan of action on it. Splash zone for cracks, fractures or filling small punctures, patch for anything else.

Re: Emergency underwater hull repair!!!

I will say this, you're not gonna set splash zone on a breath hold. Depending on water temp I've had to hold it in place for up to 15 mins while it set.
