Ebola Fears in the Canary Islands

Could this lead to the cancellation of the 2014 arc rally,as the canary islands is a gateway to many west african migrants arriving on small piroges involved with people smuggling.

I'm not a doctor but isn't this being blown a bit out of proportion **assuming** my understanding of the virus is it's spread via contact with bodily fluids (saliva, urine etc) and not airborne?

it is all about "vectors"you could easily catch it from touching the same handrail on a bus or train,supermarket etc

AND

it can take 21 days before symptoms, so the airport foolery may not catch them.

currently a very real concern here in the uk,with a large ethnic west african population.........worrying for monkeys as well
