Baltimore Boat Invasion/Piracy?

Officials are still rather mum on this.

If a gun was involved it is always "homicide"

If you shoot the bad guy it is called "justifiable homicide"

I don't think that someone coming on your property necessarily justifies blowing them away. Some people do think this way and I strongly disagree. A death penalty for trespassing would be like beating the dog with a baseball bat for pooping on the carpet. The penalty does not fit the crime.

Now I expect many to say that this shows that crime is as bad in the USA to boaters as it is in places like Guatamala or Venezuala, but it just isnt so.

Anytime someone is killed during the commission of a crime it is ruled a homicide even if it is one of the perpetrators and if the fellow that shot him is not charged then his partner in crime will be charged with the homicide when he is caught.

I have often heard that those folks that live on the left coast live in their own little world

Where did the report say anything about a gun? Lot's of ways to kill people, including just pushing them off a boat.

And that's why you live in California, and I live in Texas!

If someone was breaking into my boat (not just trespassing, mind you) at 1 am in an anchorage, I wouldn't hesitate to use a lethal response.

Sorry, I just plain have no tolerance, IN THIS COUNTRY, for folks that believe they are entitled to my stuff.

I have seen this boat at anchor several times.

There is a group of thieves that prowl around lookin for EZ Pickins.

There is one guy in Baltimore Harbor that cruises around in daylight

In a non descript tri-hull "whaler type of boat"
