Where is this?

Cruisers, I often see this location as it appears to be a standard crusiers photo, but I don't know where it is. Can anyone advise?

Looks like Nonookie Atoll, somewhere in the Virgin Islands.

Looking at Gemini's eh?
Pictures in google maps certainly match with Mayreau

Re: Where is this?

Not looking at Geminis, it was in a mail out from Catamarans.com

I read about how a couple bought this Gemini, sailed Carib for 2 years etc, brought it home to Annapolis the home of Geminis etc etc.

I was then expecting to see a 2009 Gemini for $190k but instead the advert was for a 2001 model for $98k.

All that aside, boats with good web pages and in particular blogs definitely sell quicker and easier because people can relate to what the vessel is capable of and can better picture themselves on board. I much rather prefer a photo with people seated around a saloon table versus an empty charter boat style photo.

Digressing, I once sold an aircraft really quickly and easily based on a website with lots of photos in and outside and in different locations around the country. My mate had the exact aircraft, same price with less hours and in better condition advertised with a photo of it in the hangar. 2 years later it hasn't sold yet.

Saltwhistle Bay is a popular spot, especially with the charter boats. We stopped there once so we could hike up to the top of Mayreau, and by the time we got back to the boat, two boats had anchored over our hook. Here it is on a non-crowded day...

Re: Where is this?

Could almost be the NW corner of Ely's Harbour in Bermuda, except too many palms.
