What are your favorite apps? List the name, platform(iPhone, iPad, Android), what it does, notes:

Here's one I've used:

iNavX

• Platform: iPhone
• What it does: Noaa charts with waypoints and tracking, anchor alarm, ais alarm, add ons for Tides and Weather.
• Notes: functional but not slick or beautiful. Had to download a lot of charts which takes time (do at home).

sextant, paper charts and philippe patek pocket watch, when coastal, sextant for horizontal angles (Pothenot problem), davis instruments hand bearing compass for taking lighthouses bearings for fix.

and to be honest, just for looking around not navigation, OCPN and that famous CM93 last time updated 6 year ago
