Weather conditions

Hi all

I was just wondering if anyone has a good link that will allow me to find the seasonal weather conditions for any given place in the world for example I know sailing in the northern parts of Australia between nov to April is somewhere between adventitious and insanity with the added plus if u get blown ashore by cyclone between pt moresby and Darwin if not drowned the crocs get yer!

Thnx

Re: Weather conditions

Check out the free online pilot charts: Maritime Safety Information

And also 'Wolrd Cruising Routes' by Jimmy Cornell: http://www.amazon.ca/World-Cruising-.../dp/007159289X

Both are a good complement for planning your journeys. However, Once you are done planning please leave both at home (so to speak) and not rely on them for accurate information. A lot of people go "the weather I experienced on my passage was nothing like the pilot charts" where they should be saying "the weather is nothing like the 96-hour forecast said it would be".
