Trans-Atlantic West-to-East

We'll be leaving Charleston around June 1 for the Med, by way of Bermuda, Azores, & Gibraltar. I am just starting to think about the navigation side of the crossing and was wondering...

Can anyone tell me the position of the Azores High relative to its average summertime position? High? Low? About average?

We'll be downloading grib files, naturally, and using those as our primary source for decision making. But having this info will be helpful as well.

Thanks.

The Azores High is located at around 30̊N latitude in winter (i.e. south of the Azores). In summer the high pressure centre generally shifts towards 35̊N
