Tides

Ahoy!

Rick Steves did a great interview with Jonathon White, author of Tides: The Science and Spirit of the Ocean.

Episode 582 of the Travel with Rick Steves Radio podcast.

I haven't read the book yet, but simply listening to the interview (about 35 minutes into the podcast) filled in a lot of knowledge and curiosity gaps for this baby pirate!
