It was a boat from here in Jersey (not me though ). One of the benefits of living on a small island is that he will never hear the end of it. ever

The tidal range in this part of the world means that sailing over large lumps of planet earth that dry well above the low water mark is quite normal - which together with strong tidal streams can lead to a booboo from both miscalculation and simply from pushing things (called local knowledge ).

Looks like having a wing keel helped. and lady luck.

A bit of respect, please. It must have taken years of practice to learn how to balance a yacht so gracefully.

Those who rely on bilge keels, not to mention catamarans, should take a lesson here.
