St. Augustine Hurricane Update

From Facebook this am. Credit to authors - St. Augustine's Cruisers Net. Note that despite others transiting the St. Aug inlet safely, the channel has indeed shifted.

Hurricane Matthew Update

Hurricane Matthew Update: St Augustine Fl.

St Augustine Inlet Data: A local shrimp boat reports that the inlet has profound changes. Do not trust previous coordinates for our channel. There has been shifting of the shoals and the extent is unknown as of yet. Only two channel markers on within site and they appear to be off Mark. Our inlet is effectively closed until further notice. Using it now is risky. We will continue to update.

Marinas:
St Augustine Municipal Marina: The fuel system has been serviced and inspected and found to be free of water contaminate. The fuel dock is currently open. See our icon for “lowest fuel prices” on the home page of portofcallsa.com for current rates. The marina did sustain a good deal of damage but does have slips currently available. Call ahead to confirm a reservation for dockage. No arrivals being accepted on the mooring balls until inspections are complete. DINGHY DOCK IS OPEN so feel free to anchor and check in at the fuel dock. Your dinghy pass includes all the amenities you would receive if your were in a slip. The cost is $10.00 for a pass which expires at noon the following day. The city’s business district is open and at your fingertips.
Camachee Cove Marina: Open but with extremely limited transient space. Three slips currently servicing mariners on the move so make sure you call to reserve. Their fuel dock is open.
Conch House Marina: No dockage or fuel available at all but the restaurant is OPEN and accessible via land arrival only. They do expect to open the temporary dock next week to provide for access to the restaurant via water.
Inlet Marina at Vilano: Currently Closed for Fuel or Transient Dockage
Hidden Harbor Marina: Some damaged pylons but the dockmaster is doing all she can to accommodate transients. They are open for business but very tight on inventory. Excellent location to access everything if you can get in here. This marina is also home to Capt. Pete….cab driver with a mini van and a great corporate rate for Port of Call SA. Just ask him about the $20 hourly special or look him up on our site at portofcallsa.com/cruisers corner.

BoatYards:
St Augustine Marine Center: Open fully operational
Xinides: Travel lift is currently blocked by debris will update asap.
Oasis: Unable to verify as of yet
