Seaiq iPad app no longer supports CM93 charts

In the new update version, Seaiq has dropped support for CM93 charts. They said they received a "request" from CMAP to drop support.

If you use Seaiq and want to retain this support, you should be sure to not update it. You may need to turn off automatic updates. You might also consider making and storing a backup in case you lose the program, change tablets, or accidentally get upgraded.

This is really bad news - Seaiq was the best of the bunch out there (personal opinion, of course) and I considered it OCPN for ipad. In fact, it does several things better and has features not found on OCPN.

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

I noticed that and have not updated it. But frankly I have not used the program very much. Why did they do this?

Re: Seaiq iPad app no longer supports CM93 charts

One of the really nice things about the Seaiq app is that you can also load your .kap files to view google earth files on your Ipad. I have found these to be very accurate, whereas the other charts have often been WAY off.
BUT.... without the CM93 charts, the other charts are useless overviews, or ridiculously expensive. So for cruising in the hinterlands, its usefulness is limited to being a Google Earth viewer (and maybe an anchor alarm).
Anybody know how I can take the good (old) copy of seaiq to install it on my new one?
