SAMSUNG GALAXY S II - URL LINKS

I have recently aquired a smartphone, the Galaxy S II and I have set it up to load/execute a variety of URLīs which works perfectly.

I am using my google cloud drive and also Photobucket to store heavy video files and large amounts of photos.

Sending the URL links to my smartphone by email,I can then easily connect to the URLīs by just clicking the links. So far so good ....

BUT.. I follow exactly the same procedure to link to .htm files on my web host which points to AIS pages I have created for various parts of the world,my smartphone is unable to find the location of ther URL? Using the same URL in my browser, immediately brings up the page.

I am completely mystified as to why the smartphone does not find the URL.

See example here: (the first two URLīs work, the last one does NOT.)

Re: SAMSUNG GALAXY S II - URL LINKS

mesailor..

Yes,I have several I can use,but I want to use it embedded as you see in the Marine Traffic example earlier. The problem seems to be the .htm page?

Re: SAMSUNG GALAXY S II - URL LINKS

Problem resolved..

I moved all my .htm files to another directory on my hosted server and that solved the problem. Still donīt know why.

Notice my Galaxy S II does not have a great Wi-Fi range, close to the router is best. Have also installed a 16GB memory card so now have a total of 32GB.

I now have several AIS networks as well as weather forecast at my fingertips.
