I see what you mean. I wasn't really paying attention.

There's a lot of that these days.

Remember the Bummfuzzles? Sailing around the world while eating pizza hut at every stop and complaining if they couldn't find one.

Appreciation for history and respect for how things were done in the past isn't very popular these days. The young think they're all just discovering stuff for the first time since they never read a book and all that old fart stuff was written in books.

For my tastes I'd invoke someone like Moitessier. Now that's someone with style.

This pearl of wisdom needs to be quoted IMHO. Of course it is not confined to the present generation. All of them do it, including mine.
