Navionics for Maxsea TimeZero

Im considering running Maxsea TimeZero on my boat for cruising in Mexico. I just noticed that the Navionics charts for this region haven't been updated since 2012. When I look at Navionics using the native app on my tablet the charts there are much better.
What gives? Has Navionics and Mapmedia/Maxsea broken ties?
Or am I missing something?

Yup and I will get them if I have to but Navionics has made some great updates for the sea of Cortez if it would just carry over to Maxsea.
Does anyone know if Maxsea will be working with Navionics going forward or has their partnership died? It drives me crazy that marketing and company profits seem to always get in the way of safety!!!!

Re: Navionics for Maxsea TimeZero

I found a couple of locations along yuca tan coast that are not charted well in navionics. Namely Bahia de Ascension and Banco Chincerro. Dangerously charted by navionics.

BTW: Garmin charted Bahia de Ascension and Banco Norte with accurate detail.
