Navionics Card Not Working for Me

Last year I purchased as a mobile backup a little Lowrance XOG normaly used on Land for Vehicular Street navigation, screen with about 4".

For this unit I also purchased a Navionics card for Marine navigation for Central & South America. Just now I am getting arround to familiarize myself with this thing but so far I am not impressed with the little data I am getting.

No Port Charts just Land contours with water depth.

What am I doing wrong?????????

Thanks in advance for your knowledge based input.
Never hire someone to do something you can do yourself better.
