Navionics and NOAA charts

If you have Navionics charts, is there a need for NOAA charts? Do NOAA charts offer something that the Navionics charts don't in terms of details etc?

It would be great to have an answer to this.

In addition to the general vector - raster differences, I find that Navionics charts seriously lack on-shore information for coastal cruising. When trying to identify landmarks and so on I find good old paper charts or their raster equivalent to be far superior.
