Miami to Dry Tortugas then across to about 7 to 10miles off cuba

you need to look for Reverse Current you will find it when you see lots of
big commercial Boats one time 6 on my AIS
stay alone the cuba coast to West end of Cuba San Antonio then
direct to Utila Honduras or Roatan... I always check in Utila

Thanks David. that's general route we are going to take. A stop in Isla mujeres has been talked about, but it seems that would give up a lot of easting and put us head into the current, your suggestion makes a lot of sense.I'll give you a call sometime.Thanks again, Chris

Isla Mujures to Belize if you did stop stay about 500 ft off Mexico Reef
you will see 2 to 3 knots of current on the nose YUK Isla is a nice place to stop for a rest
