Jammer, you still don't get it.
LIGHTS BURN OUT. Happens every day and if you spent a full hour looking for one light, you probably were wasting your time and failing to mavigate for a good 55 minutes.
Mark ain't there? Use another one. Marks burn out, get run down, submerge, all the time. Hell, even the
offshore light ships and towers routinely got run down by traffic and went off station.
You want the most up to date
charts you can get? Ante up, don't be a
cheap bastard and buy chart kits, pay what it costs to have an authorized agent print you out the chart that is updated DAILY.
Each product is designed for a specific purpose and they accomplish that purpose very nicely. Your problem is that you want something which you can't or won't buy. Nothing wrong with the product, you just don't understand how or when to use it.
An hour looking for one light, ROFL. That ain't navigating. Or piloting. That's a fixation.
