KNM "Helge Ingstad" and the COLREGS

By request from several members all posts relating to the collision between KNM Helge Ingstad and the Oiler Sola TS will be transferred to this thread from the thread dealing originally with USN McCain and USN Fitzgerald.

Please be patient while this transfer is proceeding. It you wish to make a contribution to the discussion of Ingstad's collision please make it to the old thread, and I will catch up with it in due course and in sequence :-).

I will report the transfers complete on the old thread so we can make the shift in an orderly fashion.
