The issue affects iNavx 5.09 when running on iPad Pro IOS 10.3.2 (both latest versions as at 7/17). I am using Navionics
Mediterranean 24G.
The system will crash repeatedly and is totally unusable.
INavx are well aware of the issue, yet do not warn their customers NOT to update.
This from iNavx customer
service;
"This sounds like a problem specific to the iPad Pro using Navionics
charts in iNavX. We've determined it's a memory management issue with the Navionics charts that only effects iPad Pros. We are waiting for Navionics to update their
software. In the meantime, one possible
work around is to not overload the Navionics chart by doing too much scrolling and zooming in a fast fashion. If you moves a little slower the Navionics charts should handle it ok.
I apologize for this inconvenience. "
So basically iNavx are saying you cannot use the program while we "wait for Navionics to update their software". Slow zooming and panning doesn't help at all. Hmmmmm.
