I Need to Buy a GPS ?

I am new to sailing i just got my boat.
I need a GPS and Depth finder.
Can any one help me to find out and easy one to learn.
i dont even know how to sail yet,I have never been on a sail boat yet,lol
but i did buy a 32 foot Pearson so i need to buy a gps thanks for your help

If your short on cash get a fishfinder/plotter combo like the small Lawrance M-68c sonar/map unit's . Everything you need including charts for $350, You can shoot the sounder right threw the hull.

doe's the gps charts update by themselves .
I look at a lot online and they say they have sd card slots but card sold sep.
do i need to buy charts on the card.
and how acurate is the sounder. my boat is a 32 foot and i just need to buy sails but i will motor it form sc to wilmington nc around 90 miles then get the sailes i need to let the marina get them for me

We use, the Garmin 72. Wery simple, very good, very inexpensive.
