I need help with Open CPN plugins please

Can anyone help here? I have downloaded all the plugins for Open CPN but the only ones showing in the settings are: dashboard, findit, grib and logbook. The grib plugin doesn't work at all.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Jef

Jef...
Not without further info... Which version of OpenCPN are you running? Are you sure you downloaded plugins that are supposed to work with it? Where did you put the plugins? What do you mean by doesn't work at all? - grib plugin is bundled with opencpn, so there should be no problem even if you made a mistake with the plugins you downloaded separately. Can I see your logfile? (Click on the ? icon in the toolbar to find it's location) - the part from the last run is enough, no need to post the whole file which sometimes is big and no need to answer most of the previous questions as the info will be in there.

Hi Pavel,

Thanks for your quick reply! What I did was re-install version 3.02 and the grib files works. Then I checked my directories and found that I had the plugins in a file called "plugins OpenCPN" instead of just in the Plugins folder so I changed the name and everything work. So I sit here with a bit of egg on my face but I hope my mistakes can benefit someone else in future!

Thanks once again for your quick response and willingness to help.

Happy sailing

Regards
Jef
