I am nearing the end of my celestial
navigation course taught through Victoria
Sailing School, out of all places, Denver Colorado.
It has been fantastic! It is an online course that you can take live or recorded.
The instructor, Jim Cook, is really great and helpful.
It is 9 -3 hour lessons and then, final exams . I took a coastal navigation course first and then celestial.
It means so much to learn the theory and Jim makes it easy.
I like to take the class that has been recorded, so that then I can do it on my own schedule.
I also enjoyed "Celestial Navigation In A Nutshell" and "Simple Celestial " by Chis Kreitlein for
books.
I also wanted to say that I really enjoy the original poster of this thread!👍
