Google Earth to BSB / KAP

Hi Paul,
I want to thank you for an excellent program! I use a program called ReefMaster which allows me to create my own maps by charting bottom contours. I used to be able to load them into my Garmin chartplotter, however Garmin has blocked the use of second party charts. I’m able to export my ReefMaster chart as a PNG image file and a Google Earth KML calibration file. Then with your program I’m able to create a KAP file to use in Open CPN which I can use on a small laptop while fishing. This worked fine until several changes ago. I now receive an error message:
PGNAME Fatal Error! Press OK to terminate.

Please email the .png file and the .kml file as attachments so I can try to reproduce the problem and just in case I can't, please reproduce the problem and send me the Sat2Chart.log My email is in the Help.

Sat2Chart.V1.0.0.0 the first official version is now available. Has two fixes since the last beta version:
- Creating a chart from an image with geo-referencing data works.
- Lock to prevent running more than one copy of Sat2Chart.

I have tried to use new version of your program. I uninstalled GE2KAP 34.0.0.9 and installed Sat2Chart downloaded from your site, but I have an error like in attachment.
I do it on two different Laptops.

Do I need any special steps to perform before using new version of "GE2KAP"

Where did you get your versions of OORexx? Are you sure its the 32 bit version? I would suggest you uninstall oorexx then download and install this one from this link. Take all the defaults when installing:

I had ooRexx 4.2.0.9940 32bit (which was working with GE2KAP 34.0.0.9).
As you wrote I replaced with new one 5.0.0.11579 32bit and it is working now.

hello Paul as many users I enjoy your application but after updating OPENCPN to V5 and reinstalling sat2chart,
I have this msg when launching SAT2CHART :
C:..... sat2chart.exe is not a valid win32 app
I'm running on WINDOWS XP SP3 32bits, OPENCPN 5, OOREX is the last I found by your link above. I'd download several times from your site expecting a corrupted package.
On my windows 10 there's not any problems to start sat2chart.
Could you give me some advice please?

I've tried to install SAT2CHART on another laptop running windows XP Family edition similar to my boat laptop, without modifying anythings just install and try a launch : same msg : (C:sat2chart v..... sat2chart.exe is not a valid win32 app).
I had to tell you that.

Did older versions of GE2KAP run on your XP system using OORexx V4.20?

I'm not running an XP environment so I'm not sure why it would not work. If I get time I will create a virtual box on Windows 10 and try it.

Sat2Chart.V2.0.0.0 is available, it gives you the capability of editing MBtiles charts to add more information with your favorite image editor or the image editor "View.exe" that is shipped with Sat2Chart.

Below is an example of an mbtiles chart of Marina Hemingway that I edited with my image editor Snagit to add more information.
