I decided to create a new version because I discovered a bug that affects the accuracy of quilted charts created from the SasPlanet cache. Most users wouldn't have the conditions to trigger it but just in case.

The version fixes:
- the Check for Updates button if your default browser is Microsoft Edge.
- Inaccurate quilted charts created from SasPlanet cache if the first tile is not in the cache.

Also, I have removed the Quilting.rex utility as it doesn't work.

You can get the new version from the Downloads page of my website:

Just created a new version that fixes a few problem and enhances an existing feature. The problems fixed are:
- Creating charts from GE sometimes creates a chart before its completed downloading which causes blurry charts.
- Problems with GE Pro. Unable to do typing test, GE overlays, not recognizing status bar.
- Predicted number of charts not the same as the actual produced.

The enhanced feature is for charts created for Paths/Polyons/Tiling from SasPlanet using the cache. Previously only quilted charts used the cache, now unquilted ones use it too.

It looks like GE2KAP.V27.0.0.0 is a bust. I have deleted it. If you have already installed it you can fix it by getting a new GE2KAP.rex file from the following link and replacing the one in the C:\GE2KAP\GE2KAP.V27.0.0 directory. https://www.dropbox.com/s/0uz6umknrq...E2KAP.rex?dl=0

I uploaded the fixed version. Fixes a crash at GE startup.

'm afraid I have some bad news for users of Google earth Pro. The latest version 7.3.1.4505 if you installed it or if it was automatically updated to that level (it happens without you knowing about it) will do the following: Uninstall any old versions including Google Earth without informing you and it also will turn off the API that GE2KAP uses and my Fix_GE_API does not turn it back on So essentially you have to use the old version of Google earth but you must uninstall Google Earth Pro first. My SASPlanet does not give me very good Google Earth coverage any more, just like Nokia! I'm now restricted to using Bing or ESRI.

(no need to rename, SASPlanet accepts the longer names)

I have no problem with GE or the Navionics charts

Thanks very much for this.

Have not found the first file to modify but will keep looking.

A question that I should know the answer but don't.

Should the Nightly be installed over/into the existing SAS Planet folder?

Seems to work OK though had to delete a file that had the same GUI as another one.

Frustrating thing is that Venture Further creates charts from Nokia!
