OK new test version that will also allow you to include one layer from Sasplanet when creating quilted charts directly from the Sasplanet cache. Also, it will automatically set the depth units to Meters if either the Map or the layer is Navionics.
There are also some other fixes for some other problems see the Changelog.txt

I'm having trouble with cropping in GE2KAP.

Created charts show about half of the menu bar on the top. I've tried resetting the crop amount in the config file, but that only seems to effect the bottom.

I'm using a new install of GE Pro with the API fixer run, on Windows 10. I set GE to 1920x1080 resolution.

Any ideas?

Change the resolution to 1366x768. It will not work at your present resolution.

Version GE2V25.0.0.0 is available that has an option to quilt charts directly from the SasPlanet cache including one layer. Also, it will automatically set the depth units to Meters if either the Map or the layer is Navionics.

In the past I have noticed that the Navionics Marine Charts are not always correct in position, especially in SE Asia waters.

As a test with SAS Planet, I dropped a placemark on a small island that appears in satellite imagery (Bing, Google and Nokia). When this placemark is viewed in Navionics there is a 340 meter difference.

Thanks for pointing that out yachtvalhalla.

You can also test the accuracy and correct a single SasPlanet chart by overlaying it on Google Earth and aligning it. As you can see in the attachment it was off by 157 meters in the Philippines.

Though in the Caribbean generally the Navionics are right on but I did find some to be off in the Rio Dulce area of Guatemala.

Sorry, but my English is very poor. We deal here in France with a lot of topics on GE2KAP. A reader gave us a screenshot with a major error at Cortes Sea With GE2KAP, he made a bad melt map with an error of 0.8 NM and a map just with Google. See his track
Do you have an idea of the problem

Désolé, mais mon anglais est très pauvres. Nous traitons, ici en France de très nombreux sujets sur GE2KAP. Un lecteur nous a donné une copie d'écran avec une importante erreur en mer de Cortes Avec GE2KAP, il a fait une carte en fusion fausse de 0,8 NM et une carte juste avec Google. Voir sa trace
Avez vous une idée du problème

If I understand you correctly: You are saying the chart with only Google earth is correct but the chart with CM93 overlayed onto GE is not correct. Is that right? If so, did they align the CM93 with GE before creating the chart?

I do not know, he sent me this screenshot with his track
I think he first created the CM93 overlayed onto GE. Then finding the error with his trace, he created a second map exclusively GE / GE which, it is right

I was able to find the area in question and put a placemark at the end of pier on Google Earth and then dropped a waypoint with same lat/lon on OpenCOPN displaying the CM93 chart. As you can see the difference in the attachments.

I then used GE2KAP to align the CM93 with Google Earth and you can see from the difference in offsets and the resulting chart.

The CM93 charts are way off in Mexico, which is the original reason I wrote GE2KAP.
