Phil_FR, I asked to have that post deleted two days ago but still there. Maybe you have to do it. Just click on the the little red triangle called Report in lower left corner.

Valhalla and I discovered a problem if OpenCPN is using OpenGL and you create charts that have the same names as existing charts. So I would suggest you not use OpenCPN with OpenGL.
But I have decided to upload a new version of GE2KAP V20.0.0.12 to fix a few small problems, see the Changelog.
Paul...
Could you guys please report the bug in OpenCPN's tracker with some understandable description of the erroneous behavior so that we can fix it?
Paul...
Thanks. What exactly do you do? Overwrite Unknown_Harbor.KAP with another file with different content? Or have two files called Unknown_Harbor.KAP in two different locations?
Pavel,
I create one kap called 'Unknown_Harbour" and scan it into OpenCPN then I create another with same name but different location and overlay the first kap file in same directory which is a chart group in OpenCPN and scan it in.
The strange thing about this is that on a different newer computer it works fine.

The newer computer that works is Windows 10, the older that doesn't work is Windows 8.1. On the one that fails you can see in the O log that it does not replace the chart.

While I can't reproduce your behavior, I can see a problem having 2 equally named charts in two different folders that should be displayed at the same time. OpenGL or not does not make any difference at all in that case though - it is always broken.
OK here is on V8.1 I called the chart HarborV8. Attached is the opencpn.txt.doc (cropped to start of OpenCPN before chart creation) and a screenshot of the second location on opencpn with quilting off, NOTE that the small popup in the corner is NOT the same as the chart.
