Garmin 76csx or Oregon400c?

The sales literature is a bit confusing as they both seem to do the same thing with roughly the same features, the big difference to my mind being the touch screen on the Oregon. Anybody played with both?

I have used both.

My only complaint with the Oregon is it's small screen size. When you zoom out you lose necessary detail.

I've had two gpsmap 76's that were without the color and the "x" satellite sensitivity. I really liked the screen and the pages where gravy to navigate through. But now I've got a Vista HCX which has a great screen, readable at any time, and acquires satellites immediately.

I think the Oregon can come with coastal maps which would be nice. There's a Colorado model also which is similar but has keys.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up going with the 76csx based on reviews that complained of difficulty reading the screen in daylight. This is my main gripe with my old Magellan so did not want to repeat. I do like the idea of a touch screen though, no switches to fail.
