Free raster charts Carribean to Bocas del Toro....

Hi fellows

Does anyone here have a tip, where I can get online for free some raster charts of the northern Yucatan Gulf coast, Cabo Catoche around down to Isla Mujeres, Cozumel and to Belize, Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama Canal entrance?

I do have paper charts, but I would like to use my opencpn for plotting. I have got used to it....

Legally? No. But if you search around I understand that you can find pirated copies of the CM93 charts out there. There has been much discussion of this in other threads.

You can scan an existing paper chart and goe-reference it too.

Get Garmin BlueChart Mobile for your tablet and for $30 you can get all the US & Caribbean charts.

Also as mentioned you can look around for the cm93 Ed2 Navigation Charts (Version January 2010) and use them with Opencpn. They are not as good as the Garmin BlueChart Mobile charts.

I have a Samsung Tablet and I haven't found Garmin BlueChart Mobile for Android...

Because there is no such thing. There is no iNavX either.

Android is a little behind, you see...

There is Jepessen (C-map), there is NV Charts, both pretty odd and c(...)y (much as their charts are fine otherwise).

There is Navionics, but there is no demo and I cannot say how good or bad it is. I used Navionics on iThing two years ago and it was very good (lacking AIS though).

At least one App I found works with BSB charts and if you can get BSB charts for the area then you may be happy with this solution.
