Free Charts
Hi Everyone,
I'm doing my first international trip this weekend from Fukuoka Japan, to Busan South Korea. It's only about 140 nautical miles with a really big island (Tsushima) in the middle. I'm very familiar with the shore around Busan, but not so familiar with Fukuoka and Tsushima. I know it's quite easy to download nautical charts for the U.S., but can't seem to find any sites for Asian ports. Does anyone one know of a site one could do this? If not, I'm just planning on buying some in Japan. |

I don't know of any sites to download charts. I am guessing you will have to source them in Japan.
Edit - I googled and came up with the Japan Hydrographic Association. Doesn't look free but it does seem to have what you need. Basic Maps of the Sea in Coastal Waters Japan Hydrographic Association
