Free Charts

Hi Everyone,

I'm doing my first international trip this weekend from Fukuoka Japan, to Busan South Korea. It's only about 140 nautical miles with a really big island (Tsushima) in the middle. I'm very familiar with the shore around Busan, but not so familiar with Fukuoka and Tsushima.

I know it's quite easy to download nautical charts for the U.S., but can't seem to find any sites for Asian ports. Does anyone one know of a site one could do this? If not, I'm just planning on buying some in Japan.

I don't know of any sites to download charts. I am guessing you will have to source them in Japan.

Edit - I googled and came up with the Japan Hydrographic Association. Doesn't look free but it does seem to have what you need.
