Fire Island, NY in a sailboat
I'm considering heading to Fire Island over the 4th of July weekend, home base is Sandy Hook, NJ. Does anyone have any experience getting in and out of the Fire Island Inlet and places to anchor? I'm reading some disturbing things about shifting shoals and lack of anchorage spots so I'm wondering if it's worth doing.
