Duncansby race, Pentland firth, Scotland

Hi,
I will pass through the Pentland firth (Pf) from E to W this summer, after a vacation in Scotland.

So, I Am educating myself on tidal conditions through the Pf and am, in my opinion, at a conundrum.

I read:
" Duncansby Race
At (-0500 HW Dover) the race forms WNW off Duncansby Head coincident with the beginning of the SE-going tidal stream, and extends initially ENE but wheels gradually anti-clockwise. Turbulence is experienced off Duncansby Head throughout the period of the SE-going stream." (Courtesy Caithness CWS - Pentland Firth - Tides)

I assume "DR" in the image is an abbreviation for Duncansby race, but then the location of DR is in error according to the text.
Is the image in error?
