DETAILED NOAA CHARTS NAPLES,FL. AREA

I am looking for a DETAILED NOAA chart of the Naples,FL. coastline.
I've downloaded ALL of the Florida NOAA charts but the nearest is 11460_1.kap Cape Canaveral to Key West. Surely there must be better charts? Even my CM93 charts are better.

If your looking for an ENC instead of a RNC there are a couple missing down that way.

I can only find a RNC version for a few charts in FL, I've downloaded all of them.

The ones that are missing seem to be the odd ones that aren't oriented square with north up. I know this is the case for a couple in the Anclote key area. And I vaguely remember one missing south of Tampa bay, can't remember for sure.

I asked her about this last year, but no response.


edit,... looking at the graphical catalogs, I see no vector version of 11429 or 11430.

Looks like the ENC file US4FL44M is detailed for the Naples Bay and surroundings.

Maybe that's why a vector version of 11429 is not there.

The NOAA site is a quagmire.

Here's the best portal to the downloads to me.

But even my CM93 is better than the downloaded ENC US4FL44M and I can not find the raster version 11429 at all. Very strange this coastline is so badly charted.

I ended up creating a detailed chart from GE with GE2KAP.

Like four winds said, follow the link, choose graphical catalog, zoom in on Naples, download the raster chart. Easy-peasy.

Zoom in to get down to as detailed as 1:30,000 for the Naples area, or zoom out to choose whatever higher level you want.

Actually in raster it is 11429_1 Chatham River to Clam Pass 1:80,000 10/01/2010 and it is available for download as I have downloaded it recently when I updated my whole NOAA raster chart library.
