I don't think there's anything like that. There's some information on current's in the British Admiralty pilots, as you probably know, but they won't be very recent either. For our current trip (May-June: Langkawi, Singapore
, Kuching, Puerto Princessa, Hong Kong) they helped us couple of times to catch a ride on a current. Other times there were off (week monsoon, ITCZ swept right over us).
As for the pilot charts, I was trying to find some recent statistics on prevalent winds (and especially typhoons) for last couple of decades, as an update for the Pilot charts, but I haven't succeeded. Should be quite easy for someone with fast computer
