Comparative Test of PC-Based Navigation Systems

Here is a link to a recent comparative test I conducted on a recent trip to Egypt and back. Please do not distribute outside of this forum as the final version has been submitted to UK and US sailing mags for publication. Feedback please.

The very fact that you publish it here and provide a link, makes this article public information. All the search engines and most of your potential publishers scan this (and others) forum for info. If you want a protected environment, create a mailing list somewhere. That would be safe from search engine spiders.

You might want to clarify which versions of BSB Raster charts are supported. Best I can tell from your article is versions 1 - 3 are in the apps reviewed, but encrypted versions 4 and 5 are not.
